An interactive workshop where all attending will actively contribute in the creation of a 12 month cash flow forecast.
We will start with an empty Excel document and work through all aspects of cash flow creation to document completion. This workshop covers many of the financial decisions to be made (and why we make them) when planning for startup and growth. Learn how to use your finished cash flow as a tool to make informed decisions that are fact based rather than feel based.
By the end of the workshop participants should be able to:
•Learn that cash flow (not profit!) is vital for business survival.
•Understand how business transactions impact on money going in and out of the business.
•Comprehend and forecast the impact of the cash flow on business activities.
The benefits of attending this workshop are:
•Understanding your cash needs and be able to carry out a basic health check on the business.
•Gain confidence to discuss your cash position with banks, funders, and accountants.
•Learn to identify cash issues when planning for future projects.
•Better prediction of potential income and expenditure issues.
•Basic knowledge of a variety of actions and solutions for cash flow issues.
We look forward to seeing you!

Enterprise Steps ERDF Project
The Enterprise Steps project led by CIPs Newham College with London South Bank University and Enterprise for London will identify and engage pre-trade and early stage SMEs pan-London in areas of low enterprise activity and amongst under-represented groups to create new enterprises and help existing enterprises survive, prosper and grow.
Enterprise Steps is a European funded programme and the aim of Enterprise Steps is to provide a holistic programme of intensive business support and development of business skills in London boroughs to overcome barriers into starting a business or sustaining a business at an early stage, including social enterprises and growth businesses. The programme will achieve an increase in entrepreneurship in London by supporting the creation of sustainable business start-ups and ensuring that early stage businesses are developed and sustained, leading to growth in jobs and the economy. This project will run over three year duration (from 2016 to 2019).
