Thamesmead based artist Miyuki Kasahara is running a series of Jesmonite casting sculpture workshops for local adults. Situated at the Tump 53 Nature reserve, Miyuki encourages people to use locally collected natural materials and be inspired by them during these sculpture sessions.
After two sessions in autumn, there are 5 sessions in spring/summer. Miyuki hopes the participants will gain new artistic skills and their well being is helped by creating artwork, observing and connecting to nature.
Suitable for complete beginners as well as casting professionals! Due to the nature of this workshop, it is suitable for adults (18+) only.
All materials will be provided.
