Castle Tour and Afternoon Tea

Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be checked at the door. Entry will be at one o'clock at the West Wing entrance. The group will consist of up to eight people. The tour guide will be dressed in a period costume, as will other staff members. The guide will show you around Lickleyhead Castle. The tour will primarily be history based but will be interspersed with ghost stories, asides and some humour. After completing the tour the group will be led into the kitchen where an afternoon tea will await them at the kitchen table. The afternoon tea may instead be in the dining room depending on availability. The guide will leave you at this point and the afternoon tea will be hosted by a staff member dressed as a kitchen maid. The afternoon tea will consist of scones with jam, butter and cream, a selection of sandwiches, dainty cakes, savoury snacks as well as coffee or tea. After finishing their food, participants may wish to purchase items from our small gift shop. The staff will wish you off once everyone has finished.
