CAT Scanner training

CAT Scanner training

By Fife Coast and Countryside Trust

Overview

A course for volunteers and employees involved in community tree planting in Fife. Learn how to scan for underground services.

CAT scanning is required for planting trees on public land – especially for larger trees like standards and fruit trees. This free one-day course is for people who want to be able to scan for underground services to enable community tree planting. Using the CAT scanner you will be able to check for underground services, such as electricity, broadband, gas etc.

Places are limited to volunteers and staff who are supporting community tree planting in Fife.

This course will have practical elements, and we ask that you bring appropriate warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.

This training is delivered through the Climate Action Fife and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
