Chapter two of our window to the best of Catalan short films will be echoed by the mastery of Antoni Gaudí. Established in 2009 by Catalan Academy of Cinema, Gaudí Awards are Catalonia's national film awards. They reunite, simply, the best of Catalan cinema.
Granted with international recognition, some of the films included in this Chapter 2 have only be seen before at festivals of the like of Biennale di Venezia, Sundance, Seminci or the IDFF Amsterdam.
We strongly reccomend not to miss what the Catalan Academy of Cinema have prepared for us.

CinemaAttic is the platform for Spanish, Iberian and Latin-American cinema in Scotland. Our main purpose is to bridge the expressive quality of young filmmakers from national cinemas such as Spanish, Latin-American or Portuguese with the wealthiness of British organisations. Since 2008, CinemaAttic has produced and organised six different film and arts festivals across Scotland, collaborating with key venues and institutions to engage the public and raise the profile of Spanish film in Scotland. A Community Interest Company registrered in Scotland, at present CinemaAttic runs two regular short film nights in the city of Edinburgh and is working towards becoming a keystone company in the distribution of Spanish, Iberian and Latin-American cinema in Scotland and the UK and a platform for entertainment, learning, cultural diffusion, networking and industry development through arts and cinema
