Going for Gold: Catalyst Conference 2016
The Annual Catalyst Conference is a chance for VCSE organisations in Stockton-on-Tees to come together to discuss issues, to network, and to learn more about what is happening in our Borough.
The Conference this year is titled “Going For Gold” – a reference to the sporting summer but also our need to reach the highest levels of quality in everything we do.
Following the success of last year's conference, Catalyst is hoping that the Catalyst Conference 2016 is going to be better still.
This year's keynote speakers will be:
Becky Brown, Director of HR, Communications and Legal, Stockton-On-Tees Borough Council
Neil Cleevely, Chief Executive of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action.
There'll be workshops, networking and stalls from charities and organisations from Stockton-On-Tees. The conference takes place on Friday 4th November from 8:45am till 16:30pm. Tea, coffee and lunch are provided.
The workshops will be discussing the following topics:
Getting to Grips with Commissioning: A Local Authority Perspective
Health and VCSE: Future Commissioning
Introduction to Social Investment
Proving We’re Gold Standard: Measuring Impact in VCSE
Safeguarding Responsibilities for the VCSE Sector
Supporting Smaller Organisations
Volunteering in Stockton and the Building Better Opportunities Project
