Catalyst Funding Information Session

Welcome to our Catalyst Funding Information Session! Join us on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at 5:30 PM for an informative Online Session about Aberdeen's new Catalyst funding opportunity, part of the Culture Investment Programme 2025.

This workshop will provide an overview of the funding stream launching on September 18th, 2025, designed to support Aberdeen-based creative and cultural activities. Whether you're a well-established organisation or just starting up , this session will help you understand the application process and requirements for up to £15,000 in funding.

The Cultural Policy and Partnerships Team will outline the types of projects eligible for consideration and share guidance on preparing applications. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about this new funding initiative before applications open.

In this workshop, you'll:

• Learn about the Catalyst funding opportunity and how it fits within the broader Culture Investment Programme
• Discover the eligibility criteria for organisations based in Aberdeen
• Understand what types of high-quality creative activities qualify for support
• Explore examples like new pilot projects, testing cultural activities, talent retention initiatives, and diverse cultural activities
• Get important application information and deadlines
• Have your questions answered by our Cultural Policy and Partnerships Team

Suitable for organisations, community groups and consortiums looking to develop creative activities in Aberdeen who aren't currently receiving other Cultural Investment funding (Cornerstone, Cultivate or Acorn). The session will include time for questions and discussion.

No prior knowledge of funding applications is required to attend this workshop.
