In this ever-changing world of farming, keeping up with changes and details of the various schemes that are available from Defra is virually impossible. Whilst we will mainly be trying to demystify the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), we are also happy to try and answer questions about other schemes or direct you to the correct organisation. Join Catchment Sensitive Farming, Independent Agronomist Andrew Wells and Farmer John Charles Jones for a short tour of our Arable Knowledge Farm.
This a FREE event
Lunch is provided
Please let me know if you have any special dietary requirements
The event will start with a short introduction about the event and with SFI in limbo we will discuss how to get the best out off the different arable options, the agronomy and the pitfalls
Then it is out and about to have a look at some of the various options that have been established this spring .
This is the last ever arable Hub meeting as John and Kathy have decided to retire.
Discusions are encouraged, different opinions welcome.
