We all want to work at a great place and give of our best – well that’s what I believe. However, sometimes that doesn’t work – why and what can we do to improve matters? How can we add value to the bottom line by making our people happier in what they do?

Pat Woodfield is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, with experience as a Director, Partner and owner of businesses. She is currently involved in family businesses as well as HR Director for Mi Hub Limited (£220m turnover business designing and making uniforms) and is also an HR Director for a National Property organisation with offices in Scotland and throughout England. Pat has always believed that line managers are instrumental in ensuring that people are motivated, respected and valued – and it is by working with them that organisations become great places to work. Pat is also a Councillor, a Board member of the CBI and works with Prince’s Trust and NSPCC.

As a self-styled “business dating agency”, Catena is happy to confirm that this event will follow the same unique format as our regular events; we will help you meet the business people you would like to get to know better, by facilitating introductions to specific attendees, putting you virtually face-to-face with people who want to build the foundations to do business, just as we do with our “little brown envelopes and our WLTM (would like to meet) lists - and yes, indulging in a little "business matchmaking" as well!

• There will be the opportunity to chat separately with Pat during the remainder of the event as well as networking with other attendees.
• 11:30 - 13:00: Opportunity for the group and individual conversations to establish new business connections and to re-connect with existing ones!

Please arrive online 10 minutes before the event begins this will give you time to load the Zoom app and to ensure you will have a device with a microphone and webcam, before being welcomed by our technical host.
