Frequently asked questions

Where and when does the event start?

Check-in begins at 9.30 at Bailieborough Courthouse. There you will receive a bag with all the required information needed for an enjoyable day of painting.

What locations are available to choose from?

LoughanLeagh Mountain has excellent views of many counties from the Mass Rock. Castle Lake is a tranquil and scenic freshwater lake surrounded by lush woodlands and gentle rolling hills. Town Lake offers dappled sunlit paths and vibrant colours in autumn.

What time does it end?

All artwork must be back at the courthouse by 3.30pm for judging. Followed by presentations.

Will there be an exhibition on the day?

Yes all artwork will be exhibited in Bailieborough Courthouse after judging. There will be an option to buy works that are available for sale.
