Overview

Develop the competencies to deal with the CBAM requirements: how to calculate carbon, use certificates, set up CBAM compliance procecedures

This masterclass examines the tax and regulatory initiatives pursued under the EU Green Deal, with a clear focus on what the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) means for UK exporters supplying goods into the EU.

The workshop provides an overview of CBAM’s technical requirements, the data exporters must gather from their production processes, and the reporting obligations in place during the transitional period. It also looks ahead to the full CBAM implementation from 2026, outlining the compliance expectations placed on exporters supplying EU customers.

We will also provide a short overview of the newly announced CBAM import simplifications, simply to explain how these updates sit within the wider CBAM structure.

Attend this workshop and develop the competencies needed to manage CBAM effectively — including how to collect and calculate emissions data, support your EU customers with accurate reporting, understand certificate requirements, and set up internal procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
