A unique opportunity to engage with the CBI’s full senior team, gain insight into our influence and impact over the year and a look ahead to what we want to achieve going forward.


The AGM agenda will cover:

  • John Allan CBE, CBI President, will update members on his first year in office in what has been an unprecedented time of turbulence in the political environment.
  • Dame Carolyn Fairbairn, CBI Director-General, will provide a review of the year, setting how the CBI is performing against our strategy and the progress we have made against our mission in what has been a year of influence and impact.
  • A Q&A with the senior team so you, the members, can put your questions and comments directly to the CBI President and Executive Committee.
  • A networking lunch for you to connect with fellow business leaders from across the CBI’s membership and the senior team at the CBI.

Formal business and resolutions of the AGM:

  • Receive and adopt the Annual Report and Accounts for 2018
  • Re-elect the CBI President and the Non-Executive Directors to the Board
  • Appoint the CBI auditors
