CBI North East Enterprise Forum
Wed 29 March 2017, 09:00 – 10:30 BST
We are pleased to invite you to our first CBI Enterprise Forum for 2017.
CBI Enterprise Forums were created to support the development and growth of entrepreneurial companies, focusing on issues that matter to prospective growth organisations and providing a network for owners and senior managers.
The aim is to facilitate peer to peer learning and offer entrepreneurs the chance to network, receive expert advice and share best practice on issues critical to growing a business.
For this first session for 2017, the topic of discussion will be the current Digital and Innovation landscape and the challenges and opportunities this represents for growing businesses.
Our guest speakers are Roxanne Morrison, CBI Senior Policy Adviser, Digital and Innovation and Northumbrian Water will provide a case study of their Innovation work.
This is a forum for robust and stimulating discussion between business leaders and industry experts around key issues and themes of interest to small and entrepreneurial companies, such as the economy, employment & skills, innovation/technology development; finance/funding and succession planning. Each session will include a brief economic snapshot to set the scene, followed by expert speakers and an opportunity to network and share experiences with your peers on issues critical to your business growth and success.
Please note that spaces are limited, so will be allocated on the first-come-first-served basis and that as a result, we can only accept senior substitutions on this occasion.
The second in this series is an interactive session on leadership behaviours for entrepreneurs. This will be held on Tuesday 16th May at the Crowne Plaza, Stephenson Court, 8.30am - 11.00am. Please contact Lindi Wooding for details.
