This brand-new CBSN Business Matching Event brings together up to 16 business owners and professionals for an evening of structured, one-to-one conversations — followed by informal networking in one of London’s most elegant venues.
You’ll meet every other attendee in turn through 15 rounds of 4-minute conversations, each giving you the chance to introduce your business, listen, and explore potential opportunities.
After the formal rounds, the evening continues with open networking at the bar — a relaxed chance to follow up with those you most want to reconnect with.
🌟 Event Format
- 👥 Up to 16 participants
- 🪑 8 tables
- 🔁 Round-robin rotation over 15 rounds (everyone meets everyone)
- 🔄 Host-guided reseating mid-way to ensure all unique pairings
- ⏱ 4 minutes per pairing (2 minutes each way)
- 🍸 Informal networking afterwards upstairs at Lucy Wong
🕒 Evening Schedule
6:30 PM – Arrival & Registration
Your hosts will be ready to welcome you. Please arrive on time to register, collect any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how the event will proceed.
You’ll be given a name sticker, pen, and note sheet to jot down key details about everyone you meet.
6:45 PM – Business Matching Begins
There will be 15 rounds, each lasting 4 minutes. After every round, a signal will indicate who moves and who stays.
Between rounds, you’ll have a short pause to take notes or mark follow-up intentions.
7:30 PM – Comfort Break & Reseat (15 minutes)
Midway through the evening, we’ll pause for a short break — an ideal time to visit the bar, stretch your legs, or chat informally.
During this interval, hosts will re-seat participants to ensure all remaining matches are unique.
7:45 PM – Second Half of Matches
We resume the structured sessions, ensuring that by the end of the 15th round, every attendee has met all others.
8:15 PM – Open Networking
The bar remains open for relaxed conversation and follow-ups — a chance to reconnect with the people who stood out to you.
