Description

FEATURING Gustavo Gimeno – Conductor Daniel Müller-Schott – Cello
PROGRAMME Mozart Symphony No. 31 (Paris), 16′ Dvořák Cello Concerto in B minor, 40′ Schumann Symphony No. 1 (Spring), 30′

We love Paris and the spring – and in May time, what could be more perfect than the brilliant, headstrong symphony that the 22-year old Mozart wrote to knock the socks off a Paris audience? Or Schumann’s blossoming First Symphony: a genius in love, simply dancing for joy? There’s no better counterpart to Dvořák’s ardent Cello Concerto played by Daniel Müller-Schott and conducted by Gustavo Gimeno.
