About this event

Family & Education • Education

Sensory Room for babies from birth to 6 months. Sensory rooms provide environments in which you and your baby can experience special sound and visual effects, tactile experiences, vibration, and music in many combinations and variations. The educational activity in a sensory room focuses on senses such as feel, sight and sound as well as the more abstract senses of wellbeing, space, time, and togetherness.

We provide services for all families who live in the London Borough of Redbridge with children up to 4 years old (or up to 8 years for children with SEND).

Entry Information: Please arrive at reception 5 minutes before the session starts. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your place may be given to another family waiting to attend. After 20 minutes you can be refused entry.

Supervision: Your child remains your full responsibility while at the Children's Centre.

Phone Policy: No phone calls inside the playroom. If you need to take a call, please step outside with your child.

Photo Policy: You may take photos of your own child, but no other children should be visible in your pictures to protect their privacy.

Video Policy: Video recording is not allowed.

Food and Drink Policy: No food or drinks are allowed, except water. Breastfeeding is welcome in all public areas.

Buggies/Prams: Buggies/prams are not allowed inside during sessions but can be left in the Buggy Park at your own risk. The Centre is not responsible for any buggies/prams, or any items left in them.

Personal Belongings: Please look after your personal belongings whilst in the building as the Centre is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.
