About this CCC event

Sarah Fisher will share why she stepped away from using consequences and rewards in her parenting, and what happened next. She’ll explore how this shift deepened her connection with her child, challenged her thinking, and led to the work she now does with families and professionals. A thought-provoking session for anyone curious about a more connective approach to parenting.

About Capa First Response

As more and more families are impacted by a child who uses harmful or aggressive behaviour in the home (often referred to as child to parent violence or abuse CAPVA) professionals are seeking information and skills to offer support and advice to those impacted. At Capa First Response we support service for families and professionals.

At Capa, we believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment to grow and thrive, and our sessions with families support parents and carers to achieve this, by looking at the root cause of the behaviour. Our training sessions with professionals share our years of knowledge and expertise in helping families who are experiencing CAPVA.
