In a village in the North of England there is a march to commemorate the bitter defeat of the Miners’ Strike of 30 years ago. For 100 years Hatfield Colliery has stood at the heart of the village. Now, with the urgent imperative for clean energy, it is one of Britain’s last coal mines and faces closure whilst cheap imported coal floods the market.

No entry ID needed but ID may be required at the bar to purchase alcohol.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Disabled bay parking available outside venue, otherwise parking is limited. We are very close to Kennington and Elephant & Castle stations, plus many bus routes.
What can I bring into the event?
Friends and good vibes. Please do not bring your own food or drink as both are available at the bar and cafe.
