Event description
Support Webinar for GCE Nutrition and Food Science Unit A2 1 (Option B) – Food Safety and Quality

About this Event

Consumers are increasingly looking for natural, minimally processed food, which is driving a "cleaner labelling" trend within the food industry. One aspect of this involves eliminating additives/ingredients that sound like chemicals or are recognised as artificial.

This webinar will critically evaluate the use of colours, flavour enhancers, sweeteners and preservatives in food products and explain how food additives are regulated in Europe.
