As part of our ministry, Christian Creative Network (CCN) is dedicated to connecting with talented kingdom creatives and sharing their inspiring stories. Join CCN director Josie Gamble for a live discussion with designer, author, and storyteller Karen Sawrey. They will explore the journey of authoring the Infographic Bible, discussing the process, challenges, successes, and future plans.

Why?

Our goal is to inspire your own creative journey. CCN’s mission is to champion creativity in the church. We do this by telling the stories of those making an impact through their gifts. We aim to motivate, equip, and encourage Christian creatives to respond to God's call using the talents He has entrusted to them.

Who's it for?

This event is for Christian creatives actively pursuing their calling across various artistic expressions. While each journey is unique, we all face challenges and moments of uncertainty. Sharing authentic stories, including both successes and struggles, helps us connect and grow together in our faith and creativity.

Can I ask questions?

Absolutely! We welcome questions from participants. Feel free to prepare your questions, and settle in with a cup of tea or coffee to be inspired in your creative journey.

Meet Karen_______

Designer, storyteller and award-winning author of The Infographic Bible.

Karen is passionate about inclusive communication that celebrates diversity.Collaborating with clients on different platforms is something she thrives on, seeing challenge and ambiguity as possibility. With over 30 years’ experience, Karen has designed, illustrated and consulted for a range of global clients including HarperCollins, HodderFaith, Penguin and WorldVision. Speaking and storytelling collaborations include the BBC, YouVersion bible app, RightNow Media and the Wildlife Trust. In 2018, Karen’s first book, as author and creator, was published by HarperCollins and is now translated into several languages. The Infographic Bible went on to be shortlisted for several book awards before winning a global design award with KANTAR Information is Beautiful in 2019.

Increasingly, Karen is focused on empowering people creatively through coaching and consulting. Her aim in all things is to communicate in ways that make story accessible, while celebrating the beauty of diversity.

Connection with God, people, and nature is essential nourishment for Karen. When not in her studio, you’re most likely to find her amongst nature or delighting in curious conversation with wonder-filled humans.
