CCRI PGR Winter School 2021
Event Information
About this Event
The CCRI winter school has a long and storied tradition of filling dark, mid-winter days with illuminating research from sparkling post-graduate researchers and this year we aim to carry on that tradition - with appropriate alternations.
If you are a post-graduate researcher focused on topics that the CCRI is interested in - food, farming, the environment, rural planning, sustainability, community and yes, the rural, then we would like to hear about your work. What we offer in return is a discussion with your peers, plus an audience from the CCRI team, with whom you can share your research. We offer participants friendly and supportive feedback, plus chance to discuss the joys and perils of the PhD process. We have a limited number of seats for presentations, so if you are interested, then please send an abstract of about 300 words to Dr Matt Reed (mreed@glos.ac.uk).
Because of the evident and on-going, we are meeting across three afternoons online. As well as presentations will offer panel discussions, a PhD surgery, coffee hangouts and a 'bring & stare' lunch where you can mingle with the CCRI team. To register, you do not need to present your research but you can also join as the warm and appreciative audience (but we do require you to register).
