Classes are conducted in a fully equipped workshop environment where 80% of learning is hands-on.

To equip participants with practical knowledge in the operation and installation of CCTV systems, including both analog and IP surveillance architectures.

By the end of this training, participants will:

Day 1: Introduction to IP Surveillance and Fundamentals
Goals: Learn the basics of IP surveillance systems and network principles.

- Learn networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).

Day 2: IP Surveillance Architecture and Design
Goals: Learn to design an IP surveillance system.
Objectives:
- Camera placement, coverage, and field of view design.
- Network architecture (switches, routers, NVRs).
- Designing for scalability, reliability, and redundancy.

- Network architecture setup
- Camera configuration (resolution, frame rate, compression)

Day 3: Installation and Cabling
Goals: Gain hands-on installation experience.

- Best practices in mounting, weatherproofing, and powering cameras.
- Cabling standards (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic).
- Understanding Power over Ethernet (PoE).

Day 4: Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and Storage
Goals: Learn configuration and storage design.
