There willl be prizes on offer for the best ideas. Mark your calendars and get ready to hack away!

At the Civic Data Cooperative https://civicdatacooperative.com/ we want to build upon the foundations of our Public Engagement and Innovation programmes to establish a collaborative approach to collecting, sharing and using data. This is geared towards driving better decision-making for public services in the Liverpool City Region. We want to achieve this through collaboration, engagement and coordination, whilst maximising the tools and the skillsets available in our region.

The theme for this data hackathon will be Community through Data - we are looking for ideas that will build on existing datasets to help make them more usable, and to help design new possible applications or insight by bringing data together

At the CDC Data Hack, you can expect to:

  • Help us build our data commons by joining up the data – collect store or link data between organisations and across sectors.

  • Help us explore novel data capture through a Community led data project

  • Create a novel digital idea -Apps to facilitate response to upcoming trends – capturing emerging trends from personal data, communities and organisations working across sectors to allow workforces to respond.

Please sign up to express your interest in this event and the team will be in touch to discuss your project idea and share further information about the event.
