About the Session

Step into the world of digital making in this interactive Invention Workshop. Whether you're curious about robotics or keen to learn how tech and creativity collide, this session brings together engineering, electronics and coding in a fun, accessible way.

​Guided by Think Create Learn, you'll experiment with motors, sensors, lights and more to build machines practical and playful.

You’ll have the chance to:

  • ​Learn the basics of digital components
  • ​Design and build your own invention
  • ​Tinker, test, and collaborate

​No previous experience needed, just bring your imagination.

Two sessions available for you to book Session One AM 10am to 12:30pm Session Two 1:30pm to 4pm. Please note you can come to both sessions or one.

The Computer Science & Digital Technologies (CDT) Maker Club is a student and community-led initiative based in the Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability at UEL. Exploring creative technologies, open-source tools, and maker practices that help young people build confidence, express creativity.

As an anchor institution within the region, the University of East London is responding to the needs of the next industrial revolution through the creation of the Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability (RDCS), to be a regional hatchery for innovation and enterprise. It will connect and support students and graduates of the university with businesses and communities of East London.
