Celebrate CEDAR’s 25th Anniversary and LEAF Innovation Centre Launch
The Centre for Dairy Research (CEDAR) is set to celebrate its 25th Anniversary and the official start of its LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) Innovation Centre status, on Wednesday 14th March 2018, with a dedicated event to mark the occasion.
The theme for the day will be ‘celebrating sustainable livestock research’ and will start with an official ‘LEAF Innovation Centre launch’ and an opportunity for attendees to tour the facilities, including the extensive new herbal ley platform that has been recently established as part of the long-term DiverseForages Project.
Lunch will be provided on-campus, with transport from CEDAR to the Agriculture Building, at Early Gate, and the afternoon’s activities will feature a series of presentations on key, current research projects within the theme of sustainable livestock systems.
