Welcome to the Bothan anniversary event! Starting off the day is a music session bringing you a Gàidhealtachd fasival atmosphere and featureing some talented big names! We have:
- Rona Wilkie on fiddle. Alonside her music, Rona is currently writing her Phd through the Celtc dpt of the University of Edinburgh.
- Alastair Paterson, the talented keyboardist and the keyboard player in Skippinish.
- Award-winning Gaelic singer Alice Macmillan from Point, Isle of Lewis is one of the leading voices of her generation.
- Alison Carlyle doing step-dance. Alison is a talented dancer, we are definelty in for a treat!
This event will run from 15.30 until 17.45 - from which the evening will continue with more performances and a ceilidh at the Scottish Storytelling Centre (tickets available here). All funds will go to the participating artists.
This is a lovely afternoon event so do come along, grab a drink and enjoy a great day of Gàidhlig!
