In the run-up to Maths Week Scotland, the University of Edinburgh invites all teachers and educators to celebrate the beauty and breadth of Mathematics in a short online workshop.
You will find out what resources the University can offer to schools and communities, and we will try together a variety of mathematical activities. Specifically we will focus on "mathematical magic tricks" and on finding mathematical patterns in nature.
Hopefully you will find some ideas to take to your classroom or community.
The workshop is aimed at all primary teachers, all secondary maths teachers and all educators with an interest in Mathematics. All participants should read and abide by the Code of Conduct for this event.
N OTE: For those who have attended our workshops for educators in the past, please note that you will still be able to attend the workshop and see something new.
