Due to equipment participants may have to wait a short while to view stories on the headsets. Information will be available to share with participants and you are welcome to sit and chat with other participants.

What will happen in the session?

The session will involve watching video stories wearing VR headsets. You will be gently introduced to the experience using a VR headset and given an opportunity to offer feedback and be signposted to other resources.

Welcome to the Immersive Menopause Reality Session! Join us at Bewick Hall, Level 2, Newcastle City Library for an eye-opening experience.

Ellie Land presents an immersive session for women exploring experiences of the menopause. Using VR headsets this film-based project, uses women's personal stories of the menopause to educate, stimulate discussion, challenge stigma, and develop understanding.

This event is designed to provide a deeper understanding of menopause through this interactive activity and feedback session. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to learn and connect with others going through similar experiences.

Due to the intimate nature of this event and to give people time to connect we have split this event into 2 sessions.
