Let’s celebrate! We’re planning a get-together on Saturday 1 October. Enjoy fantastic company and beautiful views, surrounded by the fruits (or vegetables) of our labour. We'd love you to get to know the farm a little better and to hear your ideas for the farm in the future.
We’ll be stoking up the barbecue and cob oven, and making pizza and salad using fresh crops from the field. Feel free to bring along some food for the barbecue and/or to share with others. Let’s make it a feast to remember! Join us in making a rather unusual scarecrow (which will form part of Harvey’s Scarecrow Trail). There’ll be a tour of the farm at 2pm.
If you've never visited The Community Farm it's the perfect time to "get ON our land" and meet the people behind the parsnips. This event is part of the CSA Network's Open Day - an opportunity for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) schemes across the UK to open their doors to the general public and raise awareness about what CSA is all about.
If you’re a farm member or a volunteer, or you support the farm in another way, your contribution goes a long way to making The Community Farm the special place it is. Together we have achieved so much. We do hope you will join us.
Book here to let us know you're coming along.
Travel to the Farm
One of our delivery drivers, Barry, has a licensed minibus. He is happy to bring people to and from the event. There are 16 seats available and we are extremly happy to be able to offer this service free of charge. First come, first served. Book your seats on the tickets page in addition to your adult / child tickets.
There will be two pickups in Bristol. The Minibus will be on Baldwin St. opposite the Malloys Pub leaving at 10am, then from the Lower Approach Road at Temple Meads station, by Hart's Bakery, leaving there at 10.15am. The minibus will leave the farm at 3pm returning to both pick up points.
Barry has a white LDV minibus with Community Farm Logos in the windows.
