Event description

Description

We're so grateful to God and to our supporters for the first 10 years of Christian Concern.

Please join us as we celebrate our 10th Birthday on Saturday 20th October. Places are free but booking is essential.

Our Service of Thanksgiving will start at 4pm.

We're expecting a lot of people, so please be in your seat by 3.50pm at the latest.

After the service, there will be a drinks reception and an opportunity to meet some of those who have been helped and supported through Christian Concern's ministry.

There are so many reasons to join us as we celebrate and give thanks to God together:

  • You'll hear from Christian Concern's founders about how God has blessed and grown the ministry
  • You'll hear from Christians we've supported in their time of need
  • You'll meet Christian Concern staff and learn more about the work we do
  • You'll find out how you can be involved in the next chapter of Christian Concern's ministry

And, together, we'll give thanks to God for his goodness over the last ten years and pray for his continued blessing.

If you're grateful for Christian Concern's ministry, please join us if you can.

Come and hear about what your support has made possible.

And why not bring your friends and family so that they can also find out what God is doing through Christian Concern, and share in the celebrations?

Our Thanksgiving Service begins at 4pm. The drinks reception follows the service. The whole event will finish by 7pm.

Doors open at 3.30pm. Please be in your seat by 3.50pm at the latest.

Tickets are free of charge but essential so please make sure that you book a place for everyone you are bringing.

Travel disruption

Our venue is the Emmanuel Centre in central London.

Parking in the area is limited, so we encourage you to use public transport if you can.

Please note that there is a large rally in Parliament Square on Saturday afternoon (view route). As a result we strongly advise you to avoid Westminster underground station. Walking or bus routes across Westminster bridge (e.g. from Waterloo) may also be difficult.

St James's Park and Victoria underground stations are close to the Emmanuel Centre and should be more accessible.

We advise you to leave extra time for your journey as the whole area is likely to be busier than usual.

You may also want to check information on rail engineering work (including disruption on some Southern Railway routes).

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
