A special lecture by Fr Gustavo Gutierrez OP to mark the close of the centenary of the birth of Blessed Oscar Romero, followed by a drinks reception.

Fr Gustavo Gutierrez, a Dominican priest, is widely held to be one of the founders of Liberation Theology. He is currently Cardinal O’Hara Professor of Theology at Notre Dame University.

This event is organised by the Las Casas Institute for Social Justice, a research institute based at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford, and is co-sponsored by the Archbishop Romero Trust.
