CELEBRATING AND SHARING DIRECT SKILLS AND APPROACHES IN WORK WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

This free, full day (10am-3.30pm) event at the University of Stirling aims to promote and share innovative and interesting ways of working with children and families facing adversity. ChildrenThe rest of the day is given over to small workshops which will be facilitated by a range of professionals working in frontline child welfare and protection, fostering and adoption, children with learning and/or physical disabilities and therapeutic services. These workshops will focus on one approach or technique which facilitators will explain and then offer you the opportunity to try out. This event is supported by the NSPCC and the Advanced Practice Skills Community of Practice Group. Both are involved in the design and delivery of the Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Practice Skills at the University of Stirling. Information about this course can be found at
