Celebrating Black Voices - Standing Firm in Power and Pride

We are excited to announce that this year we will be joined by Aisha Sanusi, Co-Founder and CEO of the African Caribbean Education Network (ACEN) to explore the realities of anti-racist practice in social work, highlighting the gap between conversations on equal treatment, allyship, and accountability, and the pace of real change.

Drawing on history, policy, and lived experience, Aisha will unpack how racism operates at individual, institutional, and structural levels, and how deficit narratives and imposter syndrome continue to shape both professionals and the people they serve.

This event is open to all professionals across our partnership, not just our social work colleagues. Please register with your organisation email address.

The full event agenda will be shared shortly but please make sure to reserve your spot now.
