Celebrating Freddie Mercury

South Western Railway in partnership with Hounslow and Richmond Community Rail Partnership and The Friends of Feltham Green volunteer community group supported by the World Zoroastrian Organisation would like to invite you to an amazing event on 12th June 2024.

The event consists of a tour which connects the grass roots of two famous former residents of Feltham: Freddie Mercury and Brian May, followed by a Queen-themed silent disco at Waterloo Station.

The tour starts at 13:00 meeting at the only UK memorial to Freddie, at Feltham Green, the tour will include a visit to World Zoroastrian House in Freddie Mercury Close, for a talk about Zoroastrianism (the Bulsara family religion); followed by Brian May’s house and finishes at Freddie Mercury's family home where the present owner will give a short talk about the English Heritage Blue Plaque and history of the house.

The tour takes approx. 2 hours –participants can then catch the train from Feltham Station to Waterloo Station to attend a fantastic silent disco and dance the afternoon away. There will also be other musical entertainment throughout the event.

The event is completely free – but all attendees MUST purchase their own train tickets for any part of the journey.
