To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2022, we're bringing our clients and partners from a variety of industries together to discuss how they have implemented Apprenticeships within their organisations to 'build the future'.
Wherever you are on your organisation's Apprenticeship journey, join us to hear stories of best practice and how we can work together to achieve success.
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions to get more details on the programmes and services available.
Event panellists
Matt Rawlins, Director of Sales & Account Management, Kaplan
Now Director of Sales and Account Management, Matt joined Kaplan in 2006 as an Accountancy Tutor. Having performed a variety of roles including, Head of Tutors, Centre Manager, and Client Director he is currently responsible for ensuring Kaplan's programmes work for their clients. Matt heads up a team of Account Managers and Business Development Managers who act as Kaplan's ears and their Clients' voices. In addition to his role as Director of Sales and Account Management, he leads the community pillar of Kaplan's Brighter Future Programme to encourage and empower colleagues to share their skills, expertise, time, and resources to support and enrich communities.
Paul Taylor CMgr FCMI FCICM, Consultant Collections Manager, United Utilities Plc
Paul has worked in Credit Management for 25 years, holding Senior Management roles in Construction, FMCG and Utilities as well as running his own Consultancy. Currently United Utilities’ Consultant Collections Manager, he has developed and implemented their Apprenticeship Programme for the Income Department, which now boasts in excess of 70 concurrent apprentices from Level 2 - Level 7.
He also holds a Fellowship from the Chartered Institute of Credit Management and is a Learning Support Coach, in addition to being Chairman of the CICM in Northern Ireland. Paul strives to promote careers in his chosen field and is passionate about developing the talent of the future.
Lisa Todd-White, Finance & Commercial Talent Manager, Siemens
Lisa is the finance and commercial talent manager for Siemens in the UK. She has approx. 30 graduates and school leavers on the scheme rotating around different Siemens businesses. All other than masters students are studying for a professional qualification through the Level 7 apprenticeship scheme. In her time managing the scheme she has seen over 110 students through their apprenticeship journey.
Sharon Morgan, Apprenticeship Development Manager, Lloyds Banking Group
Sharon joined Lloyds Banking Group in 1996 and has worked in several functions both in customer-facing and leadership roles. Sharon moved into Learning and Development in 2000 and started some of the first LBG Apprenticeship Programmes in 2012. Sharon’s focus is now on the Leadership Apprenticeship Programmes offered by LBG, she is part of the CMDA Trailblazer Group and a member of the Association of Apprentices after completing her own Level 4 Project Management Apprenticeship in 2019. Sharon is committed to the development of new and existing LBG colleagues and demonstrating the impact Apprenticeship programmes can have for individuals and the business.
