Please join us to celebrate National Poetry Day. The session will be interactive, with time for comment and some discussion of the poems.

About this event

You are invited to join our U3A Zoom Session On Thursday 7th October from 10am to 12pm, when we shall be reading and discussing poems composed by British poets across the ages from all four countries of the UK.

The session will be interactive, with time for comment and some discussion of the poems. Participants will be provided with access to the texts. The session will be led by Hilda Bronstein.

Hilda Bronstein

Hilda Bronstein is a member of South Bucks U3A and was convenor of their poetry group for over 10 years. She says that her enthusiasm for poetry was inspired by an English teacher when she was in her teens and continues to this day. In recent years, Hilda has been a tutor at the U3A National Summer Schools and convenor of her local U3A Poetry Group.
