Event description

Description

Southampton Solent University’s BA (Hons) Sports Journalism degree celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and we would love you to be part of it.

We will have a panel of guests present to discuss how the industry has evolved over the last 10 years or so, followed by light refreshements so it will be a great chance for you to network and make some important contacts.

Confirmed for the event are:

- former Saints legends Matt Le Tissier and Franny Benali;

- BBC Sport Website's Chief Football Writer, Phil McNulty;

- The Daily Telegraph's, Jeremy Wilson;

- The Southern Daily Echo's Chief Sports Writer, Adam Leitch;

- Sky Sports Football Commentator, Gary Taphouse; and

- ex Sky Sports TV Producer, Nigel Dean

- BBC Radio Sussex's Radio Presenter and Commentator, Jonny Cantor

We’re hosting the event on Friday 22 September , in our new building, the Spark, and if you left before it was built you will be bowled over by it.

Registration is at 2.30pm and the event will run from 3pm-6pm.

Alumni, Students and Staff are welcome to attend. Come along and hear some big names from the sports media speak, and meet them – and your old friends – afterwards.
