Description

Join Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust ecologist Julie Riley in a talk about the importance of local woodlands and forestry for biodiversity.

As part of the 3 Parish Woodland Celebration event Bradfield Parish Council have teamed with Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust in inviting you to discover more about the wildlife our woodlands support. There will be a focus on the work being done by the partners of the Sheffield Lakeland in the local area to connect and manage our woodlands for biodiversity.

This is followed by a bat walk lead by South Yorkshire Bat Group, heading out from St Nicholas Church, Bradfield.

You can attend either event or come along to both for a full evening of celebrating our wildlife and wildspaces.

The Bat Walk must be booked in advance so Please see the separate listing for the bat walk tickets. Email -sheffieldlakeland@wildsheffield.com with any questions.
