Event Details

MicroLoan Foundation is inviting you to join them to Celebrate Women CEOs at the AllBright private members club in the heart of Fitzrovia – a unique venue designed by women and for women.

Empowering women is at the heart of what MicroLoan is about. Join them to celebrate and learn from the incredible women who are leading their fields.

This exclusive event will give attendees a unique opportunity to hear about our panellists’ journeys to CEO: Fashion designer Amanda Wakeley OBE and Sam Smith, CEO of finnCap, and Debbie Crosbie, CEO of TSB will be sharing their stories in an open and honest conversation with Heather Adams, Managing Director, Accenture.

You will learn about leadership, and how these inspirational CEOs have taken their businesses to the next stage of development, and what it takes to get to, and stay, at the top. This exclusive event is open to anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit – from those starting their career to business leaders and CEOs - who want to learn from the best. Following the panel discussion there will be opportunity to continue the dialogue, network and enjoy drinks and canapes.

MicroLoan is a women’s empowerment and poverty alleviation charity that helps some of the poorest women in sub-Saharan Africa to become successful micro entrepreneurs. Each £45 ticket purchased for our event will help a woman in Africa start a business to lift herself and her family out of poverty. £45 is the size of the average loan so for every ticket purchased, one female entrepreneur will get to kickstart her business. The full price of your ticket will be donated to MicroLoan Foundation.

MicroLoan Foundation

MicroLoan Foundation supports the poorest women in sub-Saharan Africa to work their own way out of poverty. By providing them with small loans, training and on-going support, we help these women to start small businesses for themselves.

With a regular income they are able to provide the basics for their families – food, shelter, education and medicine. We teach them to save as insurance against future crop failure, illness and other unexpected emergencies. In short, we give them hope, not handouts.
