Celebration Evening

We are delighted to invite you to a special evening at The Barnsdale in Rutland on the 17th of July to mark our triple anniversary. Join us to celebrate 30 years of the Rutland Ospreys, 50 years of Rutland Water Nature Reserve and 70 years of Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust.

On what promises to be an evening to remember, you will enjoy a sumptuous three-course meal, talks from Osprey expert and founder of The Osprey Leadership Foundation, Dr Tim Mackrill and Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust’s Senior Species and Recording Officer Tim Sexton, and the chance to win some wonderful raffle prizes (£5 per ticket), including an experience day for two at The Barnsdale.

The event is open to members and non-members.

Standard menu:

Starter - Chicken Terrine

Main – Slow-Braised Shin of Beef w/ horseradish mash, steamed greens & crispy onions

Pudding – Smashed Rhubarb Pavlova

Vegetarian menu:

Starter – Roasted Celeriac & Thyme Soup

Main – Mushroom, Chestnut & Thyme Pithivier

Pudding – Smashed Rhubarb Pavlova

Vegan or other dietary requirements can be catered for.

Guests must be aged 16+ and any 16 or 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
