Celebration of Chalk Grassland: Wine & Art

In collaboration with Sussex Modern, we are celebrating art and wine together. Curated by Julia White, with guest artists Peon Boyle and Michael Lainchbury, their work greatly evokes the ethereal beauty of the surrounding Sussex Downs. Julia uses impressions of plants which she forages on explorations around the Downs, as well as using vegetable inks, and experiments with making dyes and powers from the plants and land of the Sussex Downs. Her work is an ideal fit for us here at Wiston Estate, celebrating the natural world and its flora and fauna. Kirsty Goring will be present to talk guests through the Wiston Estate wines which will be available to purchase and enjoy while you take in the art and vineyard (note – a glass of Wiston is included in the ticket price).

Tickets £10 – to include a glass of Wiston Brut NV or Rosé NV and a tasting with Kirsty Goring. The exhibition will be open from 12pm and your ticket allows you to visit at anytime during the afternoon, with gates closing at 7pm.
