CELIVE Northern Lights: ProConnect Launch

Creative England is launching a new three year support and development programme especially for SME businesses based in Greater Manchester.
Joint-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the BFI, and in partnership with Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub, ProConnect will provide specialist support to SMEs working in or in the supply chain to the Film & TV production industry.
The programme will deliver a series of workshops, networking opportunities and one-to-one interactions over the three years, with the ambition of helping businesses and sole traders grow and improve their business opportunities and is part of the Greater Manchester Growth Hub programme to support business growth.
The programme will be designed to appeal to small businesses and sole traders in four different categories of film & TV-related business in the Greater Manchester area:
- Production companies
- Facilities company
- Sole traders & entrepreneurs
- Supply chain companies (e.g. hotels, caterers)
On the evening of July 7th we will be launching the programme in Manchester.
This will provide an opportunity to hear more about the programme and how to get involved. As part of our networking launch event there will be a panel of experts from across the country working in each of the above fields talking about their career journey, what they’ve learned along the way and how intervention such as the ProConnect programme can help you take your business to the next stage.
Joining us on the night will be Suzanne Reid, Line producer who recently worked on the third series of Peaky Blinders, Shelagh Bebington Commercial manager of Arley Hall & Gardens and Jim Ranyard owner of Health & Safety company Action Safety and Marc Allen MD of True North . The panel will be chaired by journalist Ian Haydn Smith
