Event description

Description

This meeting is open to members of the Hub's partnering companies & organisations (Hub Users), the Hub academic team and affiliated researchers, the Hub Advisory Board

This group is concerned with the use of cell-free synthesis (CFS) for biotherapeutic manufacture

The scope covers:

  • Selection and design of host cells for the production of cell free extracts
  • The implications of CFS use for product quality and downstream processing
  • Opportunities arising from CFS for process modularisation and distributed manufacture
  • The use of decisional tools to understand the potential impact of CFS on different product classes and supply chain models

Meetings are scheduled every 6 months to update the group on Hub activities and those of our collaborators as well as providing a forum for debate. The active debate within the group is used to guide the future research directions of this aspect of the Hub and provide perspective on the impact of the research.
