Event Details

Hey Yaina here, your Regional Coordinator for the All Wales BAME Engagement Programme....and I need you! Would you like to join me and be part of a regular forum (a meeting where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged)

Are you a BAME (black, asian, minority ethnic) community member? Are you looking for work? Is language, disability, lack of childcare or elderly care a barrier? Do you already have skills that are not recognised? If this is you and you want to see change, then please come and help me to make it happen!

This event is not only to share your BAME experiences in employment in South Wales, but also to build links and enable people, employers and policy makers to work together to identify solutions. The outcomes we are hoping for are better employment, income and progression for BME individuals and groups, but I can't do it without you.

See below a list of confirmed organisations attending; they are keen to hear what you have to say about your experiences whether you are in work or looking for work. This is your opportunity to get your voice heard

About the Forum: The Cardiff and Central South Wales BME forum will meet at least once every three months and each quarter we will take on a different topic and host the event in a different county in the region. This quarter we are taking on employment. The region consists of Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, Merthyr, Rhondda Cynon Taff and Bridgend.

I do hope you will join me as this could be your Route to Employment. Remember you have to be in it to win it!
