To celebrate CEPMLP’s 40th year anniversary, we cordially invite you to participate in a two-day seminar on 22nd and 23rd May 2017 in Dundee.

The main theme of the seminar is “Global Energy and Resources Transition: Trends, Challenges and Response”.

A range of issues including the rebalancing of oil markets, recent developments in LNG markets, renewables and alternative sources of energy, sustainable mining, and fiscal revenue management will be discussed.

The programme of the two days is provisionally as below:

  • 22nd May 2017 - Session opening by Secretary General of International Energy Forum, one morning session on oil and gas, followed by a session on low-carbon and broader energy in the afternoon

  • 23rd May 2017 - A session on sustainable development and mining in the morning with a parallel session of “energy economics workshop” and an afternoon panel discussion on a burning topic in the sector, followed by closing remarks by Professor Peter Cameron and cocktails.
