Planter workshop examples from cup workshop

Sunken Studio are out and about offering pottery making workshops in press-moulding and decorative techniques.

Come and join us at Mauds House in Skipton for a spirited session making small cups. Learn how to form clay using plaster moulds and then customise your piece with impressed or carved decoration. Perfect for pens, toothbrushes, tea, coffee, candles or small plants…

This workshop is an adaptation of our Ceramics Taster: PRESS. For more information about PRESS and all of our pottery making workshops in Yorkshire visit our Tasters, Courses and Events pages or download our menu Ceramics Tasters 2017: Dig in.

The workshops that Sunken Studio offer at partner venues act as introductions for extended workshops at the studio.

Includes:

  • Materials.

  • Post production costs: firings and glazing service.

  • Packaging. Postage is not included.

  • Booking fees.

Following the workshop your work will be transported back to Sunken Studio and fired twice. Finished works, fired and glazed, will be available for collection from Mauds House within 28 days after the session. If you are unable to collect we can arrange for your work to be delivered for £10 per address.
