Cerebral Palsy open morning 12 December 2016
If you are new to cerebral palsy we would like to invite you to an open morning to discover how specialist therapy at The Bobath Centre can benefit your child.
During your visit you will meet with an experienced Bobath therapist* who will explain the role therapy can play in your child's independence, health and wellbeing. They will demonstrate how Bobath therapy can improve your child’s movement, co-ordination and posture, and develop communication, eating and drinking skills. They will also be happy discuss any particular concerns you have for your child.
The time you and your child have with our therapist is private, but you will have the opportunity to meet other families. Our Appointments and Fundraising staff will also be on hand to advise on local NHS policies and procedures and alternative ways of funding therapy.
Open mornings are only for children with cerebral palsy and their parents/carers. Other family members including siblings are welcome. You only need to reserve ONE place for your child.
If therapists would like to visit the Bobath Centre, they should apply online via our website: www.bobath.org.uk/register/visits-clinicians.
