This course is for individuals, over the age of 18 and is designed to help develop your confidence and equip you with the knowledge, understanding and applied skills to lead coaching sessions for young people and adults and create safe, enjoyable, stimulating play-centred coaching environments.
Individuals should book themselves onto the course, as the information required is important.
Please note that on completion of this course you will receive a rebate of £100, which is funded by Sky.
The course will run as follows:-
Sat 22nd Oct 2016 - 10.00 - 5:00pm
Sat 29/10/16 10am-5pm
Sat 05/11/16 10am-5pm
Sat 12/11/16 10am-5pm
Assessment Day Sat 10/12/16 10am-1pm
All dates must be attended to gain certification.
All applicants will need to have a current DBS (new name for CRB) check and as part of the course will have to complete the online Safeguarding Young Cricketers course.You will also need a current 1st Aid Certificate. The First Aid course will take place during the session on the 22nd Oct 2016, during the afternoon session. If you hold a current certificate, please bring this with you on the course start date and you may be allowed to finish earlier on the first day.
The course is for coaches who are going to predominantly coach young children and adults.
This course provides the core capabilities required for coaching but focuses on enabling the coach to provide expertise, support and passion for young person and adults cricket.
