For those who aspire to be filmmakers, this workshop gives you an introduction in how to plan a short film pre production post and post production (editing)
Course Content
Session 1 Pre-production
Pre-Production Process
We will be working in small groups and each group will be given a script brief and outline and you will learn how to make a shooting plan.
Practical exercise - We will learn how to film the shooting plan for a short film with the use of mobile camera phones
Session 2 Post Production -
We will then learn how to edit using basic tools and techniques using film editing software DaVinci Resolve to add titles, music and sounds to make a short film.
Practical exercise
Students will be required to bring a laptop for this course to be to do the practical exercises
Requirements for the Course
Laptop - if you do not have one please let us know so we can allow you to borrow one.
Mobile Phone with camera.
USB Lead for your phone so we can download the images to your laptop
