About this event

This is a FOUR hour training: Level 1 will take place on 21st June from 7pm to 9pm, while Level 2 is scheduled for 22nd June from 7pm to 9pm. Please note that the joining link for Level 2 will only be shared with those who attended the LIVE Level 1 training

SIX Bricks is a concept designed to excite and motivate pupils in the classroom to attain the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for success in later life. Once SIX Bricks activities become a daily habit, a whole lot of reinforcement of learning takes place in a fun and playful way, which children need! Children grow and develop at different rates – it is so easy to adapt SIX Bricks activities to any child’s level, thereby making the activities suitably challenging for all.

Children have youthful minds and brains, and the power of play can help reduce overwhelm, overcome anxiety, and develop positive thinking patterns that remain throughout their lives.

To grasp concepts, children must be given time to manipulate concrete tools. They need opportunities to use their whole body to explore and aid their development of ideas, curiosity, and imagination. The Six Bricks activities are short, simple exercises or games designed to wake up the brain and get the child moving, thinking, and remembering.

To help the formation of a child’s brain, developmentally appropriate early experiences and relationships are vital. Using playful, creative approaches supports many developmental skills and engaging in playful learning enhances the wellbeing of parents/professionals as well as the child/pupil. SIX Bricks activities cater for various learning styles by using many ways to teach, motivate and engage the child.

Working with SIX Bricks allows parents, educators and practitioners the opportunity to observe the child while they developmentally at. Practitioners and parents can look for evidence of the child’s social, emotional, physical & intellectual growth.

SIX Bricks helps to see each child as an individual – watching & working with SIX Bricks exposes how different each child is. SIX Bricks is a great tool for parents to use with their children at home when assisting them with skills development or homework.

SIX Bricks supports all areas of development in the curriculum in a fun and engaging way.
